The Short Version
I didn’t set out to work with VCs. I set out to stop watching well-intentioned mental health products launch without real clinical guardrails. Years in clinical practice and leadership led to one conclusion: the highest-leverage place to fix that is earlier at the investment stage, not after launch. That’s the short version of how “Fractional Chief Clinical Officer” became my job title.
Today I work as a Clinical Operations Partner / Fractional Chief Clinical Officer with Intelligent Testing LLC and with venture-backed mental health and education startups from pre-seed through scale — opening channels, removing blockers, and building the clinical processes and procedures (risk assessments, crisis protocols, staff handbooks) that let founders and investors move with confidence.
